ABOUT US
Addible is a startup research consultancy built upon years of experience in the field of Green Chemistry. Between us we have published nearly 650 academic papers, attracting in excess of 20,000 citations, as well as being named inventors on 25 patents. We practise applied research; designing solutions to solve problems relevant to chemical industry. As such, we have a huge amount of experience in working with industrial clients and building close-knit relationships. We understand the importance of intellectual property and the need for our clients to be able to exploit developed technology unhindered.
James’ specialist area covers clean synthesis and processes, more specifically, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, CO2 utilisation, sustainable polymers and renewable resources, plastics recycling technologies, plastic additive extraction, process scale up and commercialisation. James was awarded LLM PG cert in Intellectual Property in 2012 and an Enterprise Fellowship in 2019.
Professor Clark is a multi-award winning academic, internationally renowned for his research, development and application of green chemical technologies. His expertise is wide ranging, but he has particular interests in exploitation of low value bio-wastes as feedstocks for sustainable chemicals and materials.
Safe sustainable solvents are becoming increasing important due to the high risk they can pose in a commercial setting. Fergal has designed, synthesized and scaled entirely new bio-based solvents to replace traditional ones, in particular replacements for toluene. He also designs green solvent formulations for purification of materials and extraction of valuable compounds.
